Xpander announced a $7.5 million seed round and general availability of its enterprise AI agent platform on August 17. Pico Venture Partners led the financing, joined by Emerge Ventures, Samsung Next and SeedIL.
Founded by former AWS engineers David Twizer, Moriel Pahima and Ran Sheinberg, the startup provides infrastructure for running agents across models and cloud environments. Xpander says businesses can keep agent workloads in infrastructure they control, with records of tool calls and data access. Its launch also includes Omni, an enterprise agent.
The company plans to spend the funding on governance, broader model support and tools that let domain specialists build agents which engineers can extend and deploy.
