XTEND completed its business combination with JFB Construction Holdings on September 3, forming XTEND AI Robotics. Shares of the combined company began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol XTND on September 4, according to investor MD One.
The closing announcement reported $110 million in total capital associated with the transaction, including approximately $67.7 million delivered at closing. Both XTEND and JFB became wholly owned subsidiaries of the new parent company.
Founded in Tel Aviv and now headquartered in Tampa, XTEND develops software and robotic hardware for defense and security customers. The company says it plans to use its capital to support operations and expand manufacturing. The transaction is a completed business combination, rather than a conventional cash acquisition.
