TAT Technologies announced a collaboration with France's Beyond Aero on September 14 to develop the thermal-management architecture for a hydrogen-electric business aircraft. Beyond Aero is integrating TAT's Universal Cooling System into the design of its ONE aircraft.
The planned aircraft uses fuel-cell propulsion. Cooling must fit within its weight and space constraints while managing the heat produced by propulsion and electrical systems. TAT describes its system as a flexible platform for these requirements.
Beyond Aero is designing ONE to carry six passengers for up to 800 nautical miles. These remain design targets. The announcement describes work on the aircraft's architecture and does not disclose a production supply contract, order value or confirmed entry-into-service date.
