Swish Ventures has closed a $250 million fund, according to September 3 reports by CTech and Globes, both of which spoke with founder Omri Casspi. The firm said its assets under management had reached about $800 million across its activities.
The new fund is intended for seed and Series A investments, with a portfolio of roughly 10 to 12 companies. Swish plans to invest around $20 million per company, either alongside another lead investor or as a participant. Those figures describe its investment strategy rather than commitments already made.
An existing Opportunity Fund supports later investments in portfolio companies. Casspi told Globes that the new vehicle would deepen Swish's work with Israeli entrepreneurs and its activity in the United States.
