Ondas said on September 14 that it had acquired Israel’s GATE Technologies and affiliated manufacturer Bron Technologies for $205 million, plus a working-capital adjustment. The base consideration comprises $105 million in cash and $100 million in Ondas stock.
Sellers may receive a further $185 million if financial targets through 2028 are met. That contingent payment makes the potential headline value substantially larger than the agreed base price.
GATE develops electronic safety and fuzing components for defense systems, while Bron supplies manufacturing and certification capabilities in Poland. Ondas says the purchase will broaden its component business and production reach. It also plans to establish engineering and manufacturing capacity in the United States, with initial output expected in 2027.
