The Israel Innovation Authority has selected two incubators to help establish companies in physical AI and human–machine interfaces. Each group is eligible for a grant of up to NIS 40 million over a five-year franchise, covering operations and central laboratories.
Augmenta Health Incubator will focus on technologies connecting people and machines, including healthcare and neurotechnology. Intelligent Machine Labs–Foundry will concentrate on intelligent machines, robotics and industrial automation.
The authority expects operations to begin approximately six months after its September 16 announcement. The incubators are intended to combine company creation with technical facilities and access to industrial or clinical partners.
The grant figures are maximum amounts available to each group, rather than confirmation that the money has already been disbursed. Additional investment in startups may come through separate authority programs and private investors.
