HiBob announced a $166 million investment led by Salesforce on September 1, with participation from existing investor Farallon. The Israeli workforce software company plans to expand the role of its Bob platform as businesses combine employees and AI agents in their operations.

Bob brings together human resources, payroll and finance information. HiBob says it wants to make organizational context, including employees' roles, skills and reporting relationships, available to AI tools and other business systems. The investment also builds on its existing integration with Slack.

CEO and co-founder Ronni Zehavi says the plans include helping employers understand capabilities, identify skill gaps and plan their workforce. HiBob did not disclose a valuation or series designation in its announcement.
