Easy Aerial announced on August 31 that it had completed a $20 million Series B. Insight Partners, Entrée Capital and private U.S. investors participated in the financing. The U.S.-based company has an Israeli branch in Moshav Gan Hashomron, according to IVC’s company record.

The company develops autonomous tethered drones for persistent aerial monitoring, perimeter security, emergency response and defense operations. Its announcement said it had recently expanded production into Europe and was growing its manufacturing and integration network.

Easy Aerial plans to spend the new capital on production capacity, international operations, defense programs and further development of its autonomous aerial technology. CEO Shahar Abuhazira said the expansion would support programs in the United States and overseas.
