Cellebrite launched its Tactical Extraction Kit, or C-TEK, on August 26 for military teams examining digital devices in the field. The backpack-sized system combines rugged hardware, software and power for use without a network connection.
The company says the kit supports access to and analysis of devices such as phones, computers, SIM cards and portable media at the point of capture. Its intended customers are teams that need to review evidence before returning equipment to a laboratory.
The launch is part of Cellebrite’s wider defense-product development. The announcement listed a portable Pathfinder analytics platform, on-premises AI and upgraded drone-forensics tools as future development, alongside the kit introduced for field use in August.
