Aitan emerged from stealth on September 2 after closing a $41 million financing co-led by Deep33 and Dell Technologies Capital. The company said the round brought its total capital raised to $54 million.
Founded by Udi Oster and Daniel Almog, the Israeli and American entrepreneurs behind Tapingo, Aitan develops software and AI systems for defense robotics. It says its products are already used by the Israeli military and national security agencies. Those deployment claims come from the company.
The financing will support product development, international expansion and growth of its team. Aitan is targeting allied military and national security customers that want to develop and maintain their own robotic capabilities. The announcement did not disclose a valuation or conventional series label for the round.
