AIR Security emerged from stealth on September 1 with software designed to check the tools and information used by AI agents. CTech reported $50 million in funding from backers led by Sequoia Capital and Greenoaks. TechCrunch reported that the money came through two seed rounds.
The company was founded by Yair Saban and Niv Hoffman. Its product addresses a problem created when agents load third-party skills, plug-ins and connectors, or read outside content while acting for an organization.
AIR says its software filters untrusted inputs before they enter an agent's context, with protections across endpoints, cloud systems and business applications. It also plans a marketplace of reviewed add-ons. The company intends to use the financing to expand operations and commercial activity.
