Alice announced a $140 million funding round on August 25, led by Apax Digital Funds. The company, formerly ActiveFence and headquartered in New York and Tel Aviv, said the investment brought its total funding to $280 million. Apax Digital will join its board.
Alice tests AI models before release and monitors their use in businesses. The company says its work includes simulating malicious prompts, checking for data leaks and applying policies to model inputs and outputs. Its Rabbit Hole dataset draws on its earlier work tracking abuse on online platforms.
The financing will support further platform development, expansion of the dataset team and sales to AI laboratories and enterprises.
