Bank Leumi and Galaxy announced a partnership on August 14 to add digital-asset trading to the Israeli bank’s services. The companies expect customer access in early 2027.

The planned service will let Leumi and PEPPER customers buy, hold and sell selected assets, including Bitcoin, Ether and Solana, in a dedicated section of the Leumi Trade application. It will use GalaxyOne Institutional for trading and Galaxy’s Custody Infrastructure platform, formerly known as GK8, for the underlying digital-asset infrastructure.

The agreement brings the bank’s existing customer interface together with Galaxy’s trading and custody technology. The partners will build the service into Leumi Trade ahead of the expected launch for bank customers in early 2027.
